We are taking this week off to prepare for the reopening of commercial salmon season August 1st as well as our always popular First Friday Pop-up this Friday in Oakland! 

Salmon season reopens tomorrow so our boats are getting prepped to go out tonight at midnight for their first run! We will be using this time to schedule pickups with our fishermen for next week as well as service our vehicles so they can make the long haul back and forth to Fort Bragg and Moss Landing with totes filled with over a ton of ice and fish!

Expect fresh local King Salmon for next Wednesday (8/9) if weather continues to be good!

We will also be using this week to get prepped for our LAST First Friday Pop-up in Oakland at our current location with BatchMade. This is a great opportunity to get out and see all of the action if you have not yet had the chance!

This event is open and free for all with plenty of food, drink and entertainment! Please note that Telegraph will be shut down so public transit is recommended as parking can get tight. 

We have loved taking part in this exciting event packed full of inspirational local artists, foodies, and craftsmen; however we feel it is time for us to spread our wings and start hosting our pop-ups at different venues so more people can 'try FreshCatch'! 

If you or someone you know has a venue that you think would be perfect for a sustainable seafood themed pop-up please let us know! Think breweries, wine bars, events spaces - anywhere that doesn't serve any food of their own but might like to!
